Now entering: Romeo and Juliet
A playful experiment in translating media from physical to digital and back again. This project reimagines William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet through the lens of Nintendo DS PictoChat—a nostalgic return to the designer’s childhood. By bringing a classical text into a contemporary, interactive digital space, it explores themes of youthful connection and the evolution of romance in the digital age. The work blends found and self-generated imagery, bridging past and present, literature and technology.
